A man catches a bag of drugs in Australia

In a strange situation of its kind, an Australian man from Coffs Harbor on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, revealed that he had caught a "bag of drugs" instead of "fish".

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, today, Monday, the fishing nets of an Australian named “Quinn” caught a “black bag of drugs” instead of fish in an amazing situation of its kind.

And the video clip, which was published by the Australian fisherman on his official pages on “Instagram” and “Tik Tok”, showed his extraction of the black bag wrapped in the amount of drugs.

"If anyone needs cocaine, I have a lot," the Australian wrote jokingly in the TikTok clip commentary, adding jokingly on Instagram: "I got a little too close to retirees! And it's for sure that this is not the prize I was expecting today!"

Figures released this year by the New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics showed a 12.5% increase in cocaine use and possession arrests over the five years to 2020.

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission suggests that the country's cocaine user base is widening, with increasing social acceptance of the drug.

South American cocaine manufacturers see Australia as a lucrative export market because of its high price - around $300 a gram - on Sydney's streets.
