Many attempts were made to save the young man after he fell from the foot of one of the Australian cliffs in a tourist area, and despite performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, he sustained serious injuries that caused his death at the scene.
Another man was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is worth noting that warning signs are distributed near the cliff, informing visitors to stay away from the edge.
Police said in a short statement that Victoria Police had not yet determined what happened but the death had not been treated as unusual and the investigation was continuing before a coroner's report was issued.
